Madam Koi Koi is out now, free on Windows

Our first game is here. Walk into Ikenga Memorial Secondary School, find the keys, and whatever you do, don't look at her.

Madam Koi Koi stands in the main hallway, under SHE'S HERE written on the wall in red.

Madam Koi Koi, the first game from Glitch & Gloom Studios, is out today for Windows 10 and 11. It's free: no ads, no purchases, no account.

You play Tobe, who climbs the gate of a boarding school that closed in 2010 to find the diary of a brother who died there seventeen years ago. The chain locks itself behind you. Somewhere in the dark, a pair of red heels starts to walk.

The ground-floor hallway of Ikenga Memorial: cracked walls, one working tube light, doors on both sides.

What's in version 1.0

  • A whole school to explore: classrooms, the staff room, the Principal's office, the library, the sick bay, the boys' hostel and the yard.
  • An enemy who hunts by sound and sight, searches hiding places, and chases instead of killing you on sight.
  • Sixteen pieces of evidence that tell the story of what happened that term.
  • Two endings.
  • Three difficulty levels, sound subtitles, a reduce-flashing option, and graphics settings that go down to Very low.
  • An autosave at every checkpoint and three manual save slots.

Before you play

This is a horror game for ages 16 and over. It has jumpscares, sudden loud sounds, and flashing and strobing lights. If flashing lights affect you, turn on Reduce flashing in Settings, or skip this one.

Play with headphones, in the dark, and tell us how far you got.
